I love that the horse can find the release on his own, and they set both an upper and a lower limit as far as head carriage goes. I find that they teach self carriage and lighten the horse off the forehand quickly!Domhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00139769676714813261noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4318842770364105067.post-57947465564561766642017-02-02T09:14:41.327-06:002017-02-02T09:14:41.327-06:00ehh my regular trainer recommended against that fo...ehh my regular trainer recommended against that for now so i think i'll hold off. but maybe one day!! emmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05686949099663199382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4318842770364105067.post-1910192130493839412017-02-02T06:12:36.445-06:002017-02-02T06:12:36.445-06:00I will be sure to send you the rants that go with ...I will be sure to send you the rants that go with that idea....EventingSaddlebredStylehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07610596082916022402noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4318842770364105067.post-6367986379854288592017-02-02T06:11:49.267-06:002017-02-02T06:11:49.267-06:00I will look that one up.I will look that one up.EventingSaddlebredStylehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07610596082916022402noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4318842770364105067.post-6122372455951579162017-02-02T06:11:26.602-06:002017-02-02T06:11:26.602-06:00Try borrowing and playing around with a few if you...Try borrowing and playing around with a few if you can. Stinker never did well in regular side reins nor in others I tried on him but he seems to be figuring these out.EventingSaddlebredStylehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07610596082916022402noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4318842770364105067.post-48077510458407036382017-02-01T12:10:15.737-06:002017-02-01T12:10:15.737-06:00I'm the worst at learning from books. I had been thinking about some sort of gadget after my last dressage clinic where the guy basically said my horse needed to be educated about the contact, and held the reins himself positioned a bit like side reins. But after discussing with my regular trainer we opted to hold off on that for now, given other competing priorities. We may try something like these reins out eventually tho! Hopefully they do good things for you and stinker!emmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05686949099663199382noreply@blogger.com
