Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!

I hope everyone enjoyed the contest as much as I did.  So without further ado, here are the final standings.  PS I did have a couple mistakes on the dressage listings, that I corrected.  And I quadruple checked these (and ran them by someone else, since I obviously can't be trusted not to make mistakes).

1)  Kaity (Riding Warehouse Gift Card)
2)  Leah Strid (If The Bonnet Fits)
3)  Codex Dressage  (Dark Jewel Designs)
4)  L Williams
5)  Stephanie Hammer
6)  Love Laugh Ride
7)  A Pitts
8)  Olivia
9)  Jules At The Barn
10)  Bee Tea
11)  $900 FB Pony
12)  Carly
13)  A Gift Horse
14)  SarahO  (EDA Designs)

In addition to the top three and last winning prizes, I also had a prize for the most eliminated and for sharing the contest.  I think originally I had it listed as most falls, but that was too hard for me to keep track of so I just went with eliminated/withdrew.

A Gift Horse won the most eliminated/withdrew with her teams losing 7 riders (I sent you an email).  Finally, Olivia won the random draw for sharing.  I will be getting your prizes organized and sent out ASAP.

Stinker was sad I didn't let him play.

I want to thank everyone who participated, because this was really fun for me.  And I watched the teams with a lot more interest than I had in the past.  If you have any suggestions on how to change/improve things I would love to hear them, because I am already toying with some ideas for the future.

  1. Great contest!! (And I'm not just saying that because I'm over the moon excited about my fancy new bonnet 😉 haha).

This really actually made me pay a lot more attention to the results than usual! Normally I would just pay attention to dressage, and even then just usually the US and GB. This year I actually watched as much of the coverage as I could and was way more invested! I was on pins and needles by the time show jumping rolled around and when I saw the announcement Beezie withdrew I was crushed. (Good for her for doing right by her horse obviously but I was worried about how it might affect medals haha). Really fun contest!!

    1. Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. I was seriously questioning why included show jumping at one point because I couldn't figure out how it ran. But now I know!

  2. I think this is one of my favourite blog contests! Enough action to keep it interesting, great prizes and no pain (Two-pointober is looming way too close)

    1. Yay! I'm glad you enjoyed it. The two-pointober sounds very painful.

    2. Also, maybe add in some individual guesses too. More chances to get it right (or to screw it up)

    1. Haha! Who doesn't want to win things? I figured that the promise of fun prizes would lessen the sting of defeat (either that or just be a horrible reminder). :)

  6. This was such a fantastic contest, thank you so much for setting it up!!! I need to go into a new career of randomly guessing horse-related things, apparently. And my new Majyk Equipe tendon boots (paid for in part by the gift card) should be here on Monday! :D

    2. I'm crossing my fingers that they fit! My trainer's horse size Eskadrons were too big for Leo, but a friend's cob size Professional Choice boots are a smidge too small. The measurements sound like they should work, we shall see!

  7. Thanks for hosting. It was a lot of fun. This is the first year I remember watching so much of the equestrian Olympics. I'm excited for my prize!
