What are your favorite barn tools? I have the standard, hammer, wire cutters, pliers, and screwdrivers but I am sure there are a few things I am missing. Additionally, I would like to get a small cordless drill, but I have no idea which brands last/have good batteries.

Stinker is getting some time off while I work on my packing skills, but hopefully things will settle down and I can enjoy life again. And maybe it will stop raining so I can actually ride.
I've always found basically infinite uses for nippers. Obvi scissors and blades are useful too. And a wrench. Chain cutters. All things pruning / bush whacking (esp for those of us on the east coast haha). Shovels, hole diggers. Ah so much stuff.
ReplyDeleteHaha when in doubt, Dewalt. We had an old guy who swore by them and bought nothing else.
ReplyDeleteMy husband is very handy and worked construction to put himself thru school - he would echo this. Dewalt all the way.
DeleteHusband enjoys the DeWalt 20v MAX Lithium Ion 3.0 AH cordless drill. Husband is VERY picky. I believe it's the drill in this package:

I did have to go to the garage and pull that one out, lol. Looking back, it's not exactly small, but it's hella tough.
DeleteI love having bolt cutters -- they work for a variety of things! You should pick DH's brain on tools, he buys all our stuff and it works out pretty well ;)
ReplyDeletetape measure, cordless drill, level and a tool belt so that when you are going out to repair the fences you aren't trying to carry everything.
ReplyDelete+1 for dewalt! I am always a big fan of scissors and duct tape, but I'm not sure either of those really fall into the "tool" category haha!
